A little about me
Before you allow me into your story, you'd likely want to know something of mine.
I’m Kim Chapman — based in Caterham, Surrey, proud Mum to three grown-up sons and Nanna to four beautiful grandchildren. I've come to realise my life and work have always centred around people, connection, and care. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed a varied career spanning corporate roles, adult education, and health coaching — including mentoring apprentices and delivering health and wellbeing courses for the NHS and privately.
My journey as a celebrant began from my own experience of giving the mother-of-the-groom speech at my youngest son’s wedding and the eulogies at both my parents’ funerals. I know how important it is that any ceremony should be engaging and beautiful and truly reflect the lives, loves and personalities of those being celebrated.
As an independent civil celebrant, professionally trained by The Academy of Professional Celebrants, I have the privilege of helping people mark life’s most meaningful moments. I’m not a Humanist, which means your ceremony can be entirely non-religious or include spiritual or religious elements — it’s completely your choice.
For an informal chat to discuss your ceremony, or if you have any questions at all, message me and we'll arrange a time to talk.

Let’s Create Your Perfect Ceremony
Every life and every love holds a unique story, and every ceremony should reflect that. Whether a joyful wedding, a heartfelt farewell, or a family celebration, I take the time to get to know those at the heart of the occasion.
On the day, you’ll find me a calm, friendly face — holding space with warmth and care to create a ceremony that’s personal, meaningful, and truly memorable.
